Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) is a weekly magazine published by the American Chemical Society, providing professional and technical information in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering. This magazine includes information on recent news and research in these fields, career and employment information, business and industry news, government and policy news, funding in these fields, and special reports. This magazine (both printed and online versions) is included in the cost of national membership with the American Chemical Society. In addition, the front part of this magazine is available online for free for anyone to view, but a subscription is required to see the rest of the magazine. There are special online-only features, as well as full versions of past issues that can be searched.
The Chemical and Engineering News magazine was founded in 1923, and has been on the internet since 1998.
More than 51 issues are produced per year, containing several hundred articles on important research advances in chemistry.

CITplus is the practice magazine for users and developers of operations and plants within chemical and related process industries as well as their suppliers. The process engineering magazine CITplus is the premiere magazine in the German-speaking region for comprehensive application and practice-related articles, documentaries, interviews and product presentations in the field of process engineering, measurement and control technology and process control technology.
CITplus has the largest subscription circulation in its field (more than 50 %). CITplus is read by over 26,000 qualified executives, process and chemical engineers, investment decision-makers as well as designers and developers, who are known by name.
As the official publication of ProcessNet, the combination of the two associations and co-publishers VDI-GVC and DECHEMA, CITplus provides its readers with decisive and often exclusive (background) information for their day-to-day work. Bulgarian Chemical Communications has a long history since its foundation in 1967. It started as a journal of the three chemical institutes in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Now these institutes are eight. The journal has a multi-subject profile, publishing original research papers and invited reviews in all branches of Chemistry: General and Inorganic, Analytical, Physical, Organic, Polymer, Theoretical, Chemical Engineering, and Biochemistry, including some adjacent areas biotechnology, some chemical aspects in pharmaceutical science, environmental protection, etc.

Croatica Chemica Acta (CCA) is an international journal of the Croatian Chemical Society publishing scientific articles of general interest to chemistry. Four issues are published annually, some of them are Special issues (Festschrift issues and issues devoted to a particular subject or selected from a conference).
CCA publishes Original scientific papers, Notes, Preliminary communications, Author's reviews, Reviews, Feature articles, Conference papers, Essays and Data bank contributions. In the appendix, the Journal publishes Letters to the Editor, book reviews, obituaries and Croatian Chemical Society news.
Croatica Chemica Acta is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Croatia and to some extent the funds are provided by subscriptions and advertisements.

“Proceedings of the Romanian Academy. Series B – Chemistry, Life Sciences and Geosciences”, abbreviated as Proc. Rom. Acad. Series B, provides rapid dissemination of significant contributions as well as the first reports in all fields of chemistry, biology, medicine, agriculture and geosciences. The association of the above scientific domains is not a fortuitous combination but a consequence of the present advanced interaction of the mentioned sciences.
The Journal publishes – in English – original papers of high interest, presented in the form of short notes or preliminary communications (about 6-8 printed pages). The Proceedings of the Romanian Academy was founded in 1999.
The Journal addresses firstly the members of the Romanian Academy and the researchers from the Academy Institutes but is also open to scientists from other research institutes or universities as well as to foreign authors.
The Proceedings of the Romanian Academy. Series B. was included for summarizing – after its first issue – in Chemical Abstracts (Columbus, Ohio) and is presently under evaluation at Institute for Scientific Information (ISI, Philadelphia) in order to be included in Science Citation Index.

The journal Revue Roumaine de Chimie (Roumanian Journal of Chemistry) was founded in 1956 under the name Revue de Chimie. Acad. R. P. R. from 1964, the title was modified in Revue Roumaine de Chimie (preserving the numbering of the volumes started in 1956). In 1997, the English translation of the title – Roumanian Journal of Chemistry – was also included on each issue. Presently, Revue Roumaine de Chimie is published in a volume yearly, consisting in 12 issues with a total yearly number of pages of about 1200.
The Journal publishes: a) Review Papers; b) Original Papers; c) Notes; d) Book Reviews, preferably written in English. The topics cover all the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering. All manuscripts are refereed. The Journal is addressed to all chemists and chemical engineers, students and scientists with chemical interest.
The Revue Roumaine de Chimie is abstracted in Chemical Abstracts (Columbus, Ohio, USA), is registered and processed in Science Citation Index and Chemical Citation Index (Institute for Scientific Information, Philadelphia, USA) and the content page of each issue is printed on Current Contents (Institute of Scientific Information, Philadelphia, USA).

The Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan (BCSJ) is devoted to the publication of scientific research papers in the fields of Theoretical and Physical Chemistry, Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry, Organic and Biological Chemistry, and Applied and Materials Chemistry. Authors can contribute both articles as well as scientific accounts, and each month the Editorial Board chooses a CSJ Award Article for conducting original research of particular importance to the advancement of chemistry. All print subscribers receive free access to the online edition. The Editor-in-Chief of the Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan is Norihiro Tokitoh, Kyoto University.
BCSJ appears as a monthly journal not only in print but also online in advance (http://www.journal.csj.jp/bcsj/) with three kinds of papers (Accounts, Articles, and Short Articles) describing original research. The purpose of BCSJ is to select and publish the most important papers with the broadest significance to the chemistry community in general. To provide a strong incentive to those who submit papers to the BCSJ, the Editorial Committee started selecting the Best Article of the Month, and the corresponding graphical abstract relevant to the Article began to be reproduced on the cover page of that issue.

The journal "Polimery", of international circulation, is publishing peer reviewed scientific and technical research papers covering polymer science and technology in the field of plastics, rubbers, chemical fibres and paints. Kemija u industriji (Chemistry in industry) is monthly journal which is being published more than 60 years continually and from very beginning it is a journal of chemists and chemical engineers. It is official journal of Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers and of Croatian Chemical Society. It is edited by Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers.
The journal was founded in 1952 following the previous bulletin "Pregled tehničke literature i dokumentacije" (Technical Literature and Documentation Review) from 1951 which became a part of the journal, under the same title. The journal publishes scientific and professional papers, opinions, commentaries, reviews and information from practice (for details see Instruction for authors), and contributions under permanent or periodical headings, for example: Industrial and Market News, From Our Libraries, Environment Protection, News and Notes, Technological Notices, Calendar of Events (Congresses, Symposiums, Exhibitions), Book Reviews, Literature Service, Inflammable, Toxic and Reactive Chemicals, Development of Chemical Industry, Chemical Education, etc.

Ceramic Society of Japan (Tokyo).
The Journal of the Ceramic Society of Japan (also abbreviated to JCS-Japan) is a monthly academic journal published on the 1st day of each month by the Ceramic Society of Japan, a public interest incorporated association.
JCS-Japan started in 1892 as the “Journal of the Dai-nippon Ceramics Society”. Although its name has been changed several times, throughout its long history of over 100 years, it has continued to specialize in the publication of material relating to the science and technology of ceramics, and is the only journal of this kind in Japan.
From 2003, the entire content of the journal has been published on J-STAGE, from 2008, the whole journal has been in English and from 2005, contributions have been accepted from non-members. As a result, there are now many overseas contributions, mainly from Asia.

The European Journal of Glass Science and Technology is a publishing partnership between the Deutsches Glastechnische Gesellschaft and the Society of Glass Technology. The journal is published six times a year at the beginning alternate month from February.
From January 2006 the journals of the Society of Glass Technology (SGT) and the Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft (DGG) were combined as the European Journal of Glass Science and Technology. Published in two parts Glass Technology: European Journal of Glass Science and Technology Part A and Physics and Chemistry of Glasses: European Journal of Glass Science and Technology Part B. This venture builds on the successes and traditions of the journals of both societies to produce two high quality scientific and technical journals with essential reading for all those working in the fields of glass science and technology. Both journals are published six times per year.
Papers appearing in Glass Technology are concerned with glass making, glass fabrication, properties and applications of glasses or glass ceramics and other related topics.
The Journal is indexed and/or abstracted in Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Current Contents - Engineering, Computing & Technology.
